One
of my goals for the second year of this blog was to intersperse some shorter
posts among my usual long-winded (800-1200 word) entries. It was an admirable goal, but up to now unachievable. If anything my
posts have become longer. So here’s a
change of pace.
On
Monday ECA was mentioned, and I was
quoted, in a column by Liz Weston on Reuters.com. Her column had to do with need-aware
admission, and I believe she had seen my blog post regarding George Washington University’s
admission that it is need-aware that was reprinted by Valerie Strauss in her “Answer
Sheet” column in the Washington Post back in October.
